Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 July 2026
This policy explains the information used by 256 TEAMS WC when you play, create an account or use online features. The site does not sell your personal information.
Who operates the site
256 TEAMS WC is operated by Mohamed A. For privacy questions or requests, email mohamed@256teams.com.
Information used
- Accounts: username, email address, profile country, installed asset packs and account dates. Passwords are stored as secure hashes, not readable text. Google sign-in provides the site with your Google account identifier and email address.
- Progress: challenge runs, scores, achievements, selected teams and match results. Your username, profile country and results may appear on public leaderboards.
- Online play: display names, room membership, team choices and temporary room state. Room access tokens are protected using one-way hashes.
- Browser data: tournament saves, history, settings and preferences are stored on your device.
- Technical data: Cloudflare, Google Analytics and Google AdSense may process IP address, browser, device, page and cookie information to host, secure, measure and support the site.
Do not put private or sensitive information in a public username or room display name.
Why it is used
Information is used to provide accounts and game features, save progress, operate rooms and leaderboards, prevent abuse, fix problems, understand site use and display advertising. The legal bases are providing the service you request, the operator's legitimate interests in running and securing it, consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.
Cookies and browser storage
A secure session cookie keeps you logged in for up to 30 days. Local and session storage support saves, preferences and online rooms. Google Analytics and Google AdSense may also use cookies for measurement, security and advertising.
Google explains this in its partner-sites notice and provides advertising controls. You can clear or block site data in your browser, although some features may stop working.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts and secures the site. Google provides sign-in, Analytics, AdSense and fonts. FlagCDN supplies some flag images. These providers may receive normal technical request information and may process it outside the UK under their own privacy terms and safeguards.
How long information is kept
Account and progress data is normally kept while your account exists. Login sessions expire after 30 days. Online rooms close when the host ends them or after six hours. Browser saves remain until you reset them or clear site data. Provider logs and analytics are kept according to operational needs and provider settings.
Your rights and account deletion
You may have rights to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to its use, or withdraw consent. You can edit your profile and request account deletion from your profile, or contact the email address above. Requests may need to be verified and are reviewed before deletion is completed.
UK visitors may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, although the operator would appreciate the opportunity to address the issue first.
Security and changes
Reasonable security measures are used, including password hashing, protected tokens, secure cookies and rate limits. No internet service can guarantee complete security. This policy may be updated as the site changes; the date above will show the latest version.
